Hand-painted colour in Lisbon

Balayage at my chair in Campolide is painted by hand, so the light sits where it suits your face and the way the hair already falls. I work on short, medium and long hair, and on dark, brunette and blonde bases. The point is a result that grows out without a hard line, and that still respects the fibre. Balayage starts from €250.

We start by listening. I look at your hair, your skin tone and how you live with colour day to day, then I mix a formula for that head only. Alfaparf and Wella are the colour houses I use. Lightening only goes as far as the hair can take, and the appointment finishes with care so the new colour is not left dry.

Curls, waves and straight hair

A lot of the balayage I paint is on curly, afro and wavy hair. The placement has to follow the curl, or the dimension disappears the moment the hair dries. If your curl is the thing you want to keep, say so. I will not push a generic straight finish over a texture you came in to protect.

Lived-in colour is why most clients choose balayage: you are not tied to a root appointment every few weeks. When you want a refresh, we look at the grow-out and decide whether you need more paint or only a toner. Colour correction is part of the work when a previous colour needs taking back to something you can live with.

Partial, full and nuances

On the menu you will see balayage, full balayage and nuances. Partial work concentrates the light around the face and the ends. Full balayage travels through more of the length. Nuances are the finer shifts of tone once the light is placed. Which one you need depends on how much of the hair we are changing and how light the base already is. I confirm that in the consultation, not from a photo alone.

I will tell you if the hair is not ready, and I will not promise a level the fibre cannot hold. If you also want a cut that works with the new colour, we plan that in the same conversation. The salon is in Campolide, and the easiest way to book is WhatsApp.

The paint is placed by hand, away from the root, so the grow-out stays soft. I work in Campolide, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00, and balayage starts at €250. If the hair is dry, hydration comes first.
